Gonna hunt you like an, uh, uh, animal

It's pretty awesome that Def Leppard are still touring. Fuck, it's pretty awesome that they're still taking their shirts off, too.

Check out all the action at the contemporary Def Leppard concert photos blog.

I saw them back in 89 or so.... I'm not ashamed to say, They Still Rock! (although some have tried to make me ashamed to say it, but f**k 'em!) ;)
They're going to be touring in Australia in November*, do you intend to go? ;)
I don't think I can justify a trip to Australia solely on the grounds of seeing Def Leppard, but if I was there for some other reason -- business OR pleasure -- I would certainly consider it.

I saw them in Auckland in 1992, and it was great!
I think just about every song on 'Hysteria' is amazing (apart from 'Love Bites' which is fucking gross). I love how their songs are made up entirely of hooks. "Oh here's a great big hook, oh my god, there's another one, oh fuck, and another one!" It's almost too much. 'Photograph' is a cool song too.
Ditto on Kiran's "Hysteria" comment (especially about "Love Bites" - yuck, I feel sick thinking about that song). There's just something magical about that album.

There is also something magical about seeing a middle-aged man rocking out avec paunch, but that's a different kind of magic...
They're coming in July and I'm SO going.
